At precisely 8:30 a.m. MST today, Arapahoe Basin in Colorado became the first destination in the Ikon Pass family to open for the 25/26 winter season, marking the start of another year of mountain adventures, community, and unforgettable turns on snow. Joy and excitement filled the base area as skiers and riders gathered to celebrate the season’s first chairlift rides, signaling that the long-awaited winter has finally returned.
With this milestone, the Ikon Pass community officially kicks off its global winter network of 70+ mountain destinations across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. From Colorado’s high alpine peaks to Japan’s legendary powder fields, the season ahead promises new experiences, new resorts, and exciting upgrades across the Ikon Pass family.
Unlimited Access to Arapahoe Basin and Beyond
This season brings expanded access and new perks for Ikon Pass holders. For winter 25/26, Ikon Pass holders receive unlimited access to Arapahoe Basin, allowing them to enjoy every storm cycle and every bluebird day all season long. Those with an Base Pass can take advantage of unlimited skiing and riding at Arapahoe Basin through December 19, 2025, perfect for early-season turns and pre-holiday mountain adventures.
